Bulgaria's biggest sporting event for children and youth, the Frezcoliad - organized with the assistance of Lacrima and Frezco - is in full swing.
The competitive spirit has quickly caught on, and all participants are excited to join the emotions of the day.
So far, the Frezcoliad has seen the following events:
Gymnastics
gymnasts, including special guests from Namibia, competed in various age divisions.
Each participant received a stylish medal, presented by the organizers, engraved with a very special message:
"With this medal, we remind you that you can do anything."
Kickboxing
About young athletes from all across Bulgaria were present for the tournament.
The city's very own club, Spartak Pazardzhik, participated with competitors, who triumphed with 1st place in the team ranking.
During the event, Reneta Kamberova, the president of the "Youth Sports Club Pazardzhik", wished good luck to all.
"Have faith in yourself, and know that you succeed when you never give up."
Basketball
The results were very close during the games, with plenty of excellent sportsmanship and healthy competition surrounding the tournament.
Winners of the gold medal were Academic (Plovdiv), with:
Athletic (Kuklen) coming in second place;
the hosts, Hebar Pazardzhik, going for the bronze.
Sports dancing
The Frezco South dance was a spectacle of music and rhythm, energizing everyone present with its vibrant ambiance:
- 26 hours of dancing
- over 980 participants
- 299 performances
- 45 teams
Badminton
Extreme finesse, agility, and excitement on the court!
Tournament champions continued to show impressive coordination and quick footwork.
Volleyball
Teams battled it out with unwavering determination.
Bravely executing powerful spikes and strategic blocks.
Swimming
Setting new personal bests and inspiring future generations.
The Frezcoliad provided a platform for these talented swimmers to shine.
The 2023 Frezcoliad was an outstanding celebration of skills, sportsmanship, and unity.
