A team from the Zarqa Chamber of Industry, led by Eng. Fares Hamouda, visited us, along with members from the Zarqa Chamber of Industry. During these meetings, our commitment to quality in dairy production was emphasized. Important discussions were also opened regarding partnerships, sustainability, and trends in the dairy industry.

We were also visited by the President of the Jordan Chamber of Industry, Mr. Fathi Al-Jaghbeer, the Vice President of the Chamber, and the representative of the supply and food industries sector, Mr. Mohammad Al-Jayyat, in addition to the Consul General of Jordan in the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Asim Ababneh.

Gulfood is the world’s biggest food and hospitality show that provides opportunities for food professionals to know about latest products, analyse market trends, meet global suppliers, and seek new collaborations and partnerships. The bustling event convenes stakeholders from all over the world to engage in dialogue and discussion through educational forums, training programmes, competitions, awards, and live presentations. New trends and developments in the food and beverage industry, foodservices, hospitality equipment and the restaurant and cafe sectors are also displayed and demonstrated.

Since its launch in 1987, the exhibition has grown to promote F&B trade between more than 180 countries annually. UAE imports over 80% of its food product, of which around 50% are re-exported to Gulf Cooperative Council countries, the Indian subcontinent and Eastern Africa. The key to Gulfood is that it attracts buyers not only from the Gulf region but from all over the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA).

The Jordan Food Expo was a very special event! We are privileged to have the Jordanian Ministry of Industry, the Bulgarian Ambassador to Jordan and the Chairman of the Jordanian and Amman Chambers of Industry visit us at the Jordan Food Exhibition. This event was an important step forward for our company and our relations.

We hope that this event will help to promote trade between our two countries in the food industry. Our goal at Lacrima is to provide high quality dairy products and we believe this event will be beneficial for both our company and the Jordanian market as a whole.

Anuga is the world’s most recognized trade fair for the food and beverage industry. It attracts a large number of exhibitors and domestic and foreign visitors, including professionals and experts in the industry. It is one of the largest trade fairs. Over 70,000 visitors from 169 countries and more than 4,600 exhibitors from 98 nations will present their products and services at Anuga 2021. It covers the entire spectrum of F&B-related technology, equipment, and beverages.

Lacrima Dairy Industry is glad to have participated and is looking forward to Anuga 2023. Our company was able to establish fruitful business contacts and lay a foundation for long-term cooperation with partners from all over the world.

"PARTICIPATION AT Gulfood - Dubai 2022"

Lacrima Dairy Company was honored by a gracious visit from Mr. Fathi Al-Jagheer, the President of both the Jordan Chamber of Industry and the Amman Chamber of Industry, and Mr. Mohammed Al-Jayattan, the Vice President of the Jordan Chamber of Industry and representative of the food, supply, agricultural, and animal wealth sectors. This visit took place within Lacrima's booth at the Gulf Food Exhibition (Gulfood 2022) in Dubai, which is the world's largest global gathering for the food and beverage sector specializing in food and food technology. They expressed their admiration for the distinguished level achieved by the Jordanian industry, especially in the food sector, emphasizing the necessity of continuous participation in various promotional activities held outside the kingdom.

We were also honored by the visit of Mr. Omar and Mr. Assem Abu Saleh, representing the Jordanian company for manufacturing and printing tin and metal packaging. This visit falls within the framework of exploring avenues for joint trade and investment cooperation to support and enhance exchange between us within the requirements needed to support the Jordanian industry, given its vast capabilities in the field of manufacturing tanks and iron packaging in all its forms and sizes.

This visit took place during the second day of Lacrima Dairy Company's participation in the Gulfood 2022 exhibition in Dubai, which opened yesterday and continues until February 17th.
