Financial Manager
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Financial Management:
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
- Set up effective Administrative policies and controls for the company.
- Act as a partner to the business by providing outstanding financial operations and analysis as well as supporting special business initiatives and projects.
- Budgeting and Controlling:
- Manage the preparation of the company's budget.
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
- Funds and Asset Management:
- Manage cash and oversee accounts receivables and payables to optimize cash flow.
- Financial Analysis:
- Continuously evaluate short and long term strategic financial objectives.
- Ensure credibility of finance team by providing timely and accurate analysis of performance, budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
- Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities.
- Assist in the determination of product pricing in relation to features offered and competitor pricing.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- High education in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
- Good working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Excellent knowledge of English language.
- Strong problem solving and creativity skills and the ability to exercise judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
